Kevin Morgan is Principal Trombone with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. He also composes and arranges for various brass and education groups as well as the Moonlight Swing Band which he has directed since 2009.

Originally from Anglesey, Kevin’s first musical experiences were with the Ratby Band and, later, the Leicestershire Schools Symphony Orchestra.

Most school holidays involved a week with the National Youth Brass Band and while at the Guildhall School of Music Kevin was also fortunate to become a member of the European Community Youth Orchestra.

Kevin has guested with many of the UK’s orchestras, tutored the trombones of the National Youth Orchestra, the National Youth Brass Band of Wales and regularly trains and conducts bands and orchestras in the South West.
