Born in the city of Rosario (Santa Fe Province), Argentina. At the age of 7, Ingrid began her recorder and choral studies at the Escuela de Niños Cantores de Córdoba (Córdoba Choir School).

In Buenos Aires, she studied transverse flute at the Conservatorio Nacional Superior de Música “Carlos López Buchardo” (Carlos López Buchardo National Conservatory of Music) and was taught by Alfredo Ianelli, Mario Karchevsky, Jorge Slivskin, Bragatto, and Jorge Barone, and by Luis Rigou to play Latin-American folklore wind instruments.

Henry Richard Bay was Ingrid’s tuba, baritone horn, and alto, tenor, and bass trombone teacher. She took private lessons and master classes with Charles Vernon, Joseph Alessi, Enrique Crespo, Michael Mulcahy, Wagner Polistchuk, Jôao Paulo Moreira, and Julio Rizzo.

Since 1995, she has been the first trombone at the Banda Sinfónica de Gendarmería Nacional (National Border Patrol’s Symphonic Band), and since 1997, second trombone at the seasons of the Orquesta Estable del Teatro Colón (Teatro Colón Permanent Orchestra). She is also a member of the Asociación de Profesores de la Orquesta Estable del Teatro Colón (Teatro Colón Permanent Orchestra Teachers’ Association).

Her professional career has developed in many different institutions:   Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional Argentina, Orquesta Sinfónica Gral. San Martín, Orquesta 3 de Febrero, Orquesta de Morón, Ensamble Contemporáneo de Buenos Aires, Ensamble D’Edalus (U.C.A.) de música contemporánea, Big-Band de Carlos Acosta (Carlos Acosta’s Big Band), Big-Band de Néstor Astarita, Sexteto  Tango de Sonia Posetti, Quinteto y Ensamble de Bronces de Gendarmería Nacional (National Border Patrol’s Brass Ensemble and Quintet),  Dúo “K-B” (“K-B” Duet) (Kreintzies-Bay (trombone and percussion) of contemporary music, winner of the “Beca Nacional para Proyectos Grupales” (National Fellowship for Group Projects), awarded by Fondo Nacional de las Artes, Grupo “Aguapura” Folclore Latinoamericano, Orquesta de la Universidad de Lanús,  Orquesta de la Asociación de Profesores del Teatro Colón Orquesta de Juventus Lyrica and Orquesta de Buenos Aires Lirica at the Teatro Avenida, Quinteto de Bronces “BAIRES MIX BRASS” (“BAIRES MIX BRASS” Brass Quintet). Ingrid has also participated in didactic and elite concerts and performances at embassies, with an academic, classical, tango, jazz, pop, film music repertoire, etc. as scheduled by the government of the City of Buenos Aires. “Ensamble Pavlovsky”, Trío “3BAY“ (3 trombones with a tango repertoire), Orquesta de Mujeres “Las Elegidas”, Orquesta del Grupo Magnificat at Teatro Metropolitan. She is a member of the Teatro Colón Teachers’ Association Orchestra performing for Disney & Warner Bros, of the Productora SuperNova’s orchestra conducted by Damián Mahler for film music at the Movistar Arena and Luna Park stadium.  She joined the Teatro Colón Permanent Orchestra’s concert tour in the Sultanate of Oman.

Her teaching career has developed in different institutions in Argentina and abroad: master classes and seminars for brass instruments at Gendarmería Nacional, Advanced Course for Brass Instruments, “1st Brass Master Class” at the Escuela de Suboficiales del Ejército Sargento Cabral (Sargento Cabral NCO School), “1ra Convención Vientos del Sur en Santa Cruz De la Sierra”, Bolivia,  Instrumental Technique Workshops, Conductor of the Brass Ensemble set up at the ”1er Encuentro Juvenil de Broncistas” in Bolivia, “Festival ITM”, intensive courses and workshops on instrumental techniques and theory for wind instruments in Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay organised by the Salvation Army.

During the pandemic Ingrid was invited to join zoom lectures:  “Grandes Maestros” by Master Alejandro Parra, “Uniendo Distancias” by Master Andrés León Rodríguez (Costa Rica Philharmonic Orchestra), “Brass es acción” by Miguel Valensisi , wind instrument luthier at Tiendastoreplay , “II Jornadas de Música de Género”(2nd Gender Music Conference), Masterclass at FITE (Ecuador’s International Trombone Festival), for “Chicas Talentos del Ecuador”, Ingrid is invited by trumpeter Mary Elizabeth Bowden Seraph Brass Project  to represent Argentina as a trombonist in the ”Divas Through the Decades for the Global Fund for Women”.
